Developed in 2010, The Rock is a vibrant retail and leisure centre at the centre of Bury. The on-site car park caters for the large volume of traffic with spaces for over 1,000 vehicles. ​

THE PROJECT

The existing car park lighting installation was due an upgrade from a system that was in operation continuously at a maximum level of illumination 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Marketaylor reviewed the installation prepared an extensive feasibility report following which, high-efficiency lighting solution complete with smart controls was deployed.

The resultant scheme, is a wireless controlled LED lighting solution which is able to automatically adjust lighting levels, identify faults and maximise energy and maintenance savings. This project is estimated to save the client over two million pounds after a 15 year period.
